Why is it that companies invest so heavily in customer acquisition but.....ignore or take their customers for granted?
Why is acquisition sexy, but retention is boring?
How is it that acquisition-focused marketing is multi-faceted, but customer marketing is usually only one or two channels - e.g. newsletter or Webinar?
While many companies are frantically focused on driving leads, they're blissfully happy to leave customers to their own devices.
This makes no sense, given that it's so much easier to keep a customer than acquire a new one.
It's time for better, more engaged and more creative customer marketing.
