There’s a misguided belief that more (content) is better.
More content reaches more people and drives search results.
Content doesn’t have to be a high-volume proposition.
Instead, create content (e.g. blog post, video) around a good idea.
Then, repurpose that idea into different shapes and sizes.
The blog post becomes:
- A video
- An infographic
- Two or three LinkedIn posts
- Six to eight Twitter updates
- A Facebook post
- A post on Medium and Reddit.
- An item in your newsletter
For each piece of content, extract as much mileage and value as possible.
That’s the key to content marketing success.
