In-person events may not return with a vengeance but maybe it’s time for a “Customers Conference’.
My LinkedIn feed is teeming with marketers talking about the importance of knowing your customers.
But when push comes to show, I bet that few marketers actually engage or talk to customers on a regular basis.
They talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. As a result, marketers make educated guesses based on buyer personas or ICPs.
It is critical that marketers learn how to understand their customers inside out.
They need to know the techniques, approaches, and tools to get the required insight to do marketing better. They need to see and hear first-hand how companies connect and build relationships with the people who matter.
Sounds like a big opportunity to me!
