Now is a great time to jump on the LinkedIn bandwagon
740 million. 1%.
When you think about LinkedIn, these numbers matter.
There are 740 million users on LinkedIn. That’s a staggering number.
But only 1% actively create content. That’s a minuscule number.
For B2B companies, LinkedIn has huge potential to deliver insight and thought leadership.
LinkedIn has emerged as a content platform. It’s no longer just the place where HR people hunt for candidates and where people look for jobs.
It has become a vibrant community used by people to learn, connect, and have conversations.
If you’re not creating content on LinkedIn or, at least, leaving comments on people’s posts, you’re leaving money on the table.
Forget Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Business happens on LinkedIn.
Since I jumped hard on LinkedIn in early-2020, the impact on my business has been huge.
For one, publishing daily posts has jump-started my brand profile.
Before COVID, I relied on coffee meetings and conferences to reach prospects. Today, I use LinkedIn to reach a global audience. It has been a game-changer.
Like any marketing channel, LinkedIn requires an investment in time and energy. A key to success is consistency. You need to show up regularly and give as much as you take.
For anyone not convinced about LinkedIn’s potential, the good news is it’s still early days. There is plenty of time to embrace the platform to drive awareness, leads, and opportunities.
